1. What eBrix Is, and Who This Policy Covers

eBrix (ebrix.co.in and the eBrix Android app) is a multi-tenant management system for brick kiln (bhatta) operators, covering production, sales, labour, purchases and accounts. This policy applies to anyone who visits ebrix.co.in, uses the eBrix web application, or installs the eBrix mobile app, as well as to the business data entered by a registered organisation ("tenant", "your organisation") and its users.

2. Information We Collect

• Account information: login ID, name, mobile number and role, provided when your organisation is registered or when a user is added by your organisation's admin.
• Business data you enter: production, sales, purchase, labour, expense and ledger records your organisation records in eBrix in the ordinary course of running its kiln.
• Log and usage data: login activity and basic application logs, used only for debugging, security and support. Logs are purged periodically.
• Cookies and local device storage: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and an optional "remember me" cookie if you choose to stay signed in on a device. The mobile app stores these the same way inside its own app sandbox.
• Payment information: if your organisation pays for eBrix online, card/UPI/net-banking details are entered directly on our payment gateway's own secure page — eBrix never receives or stores your card or bank credentials. We only receive confirmation of success or failure from the gateway.

3. How We Use Information

• To operate, maintain and improve the eBrix application and to provide customer support.
• To authenticate users and keep each organisation's data isolated from every other organisation on the platform.
• To send service-related communications (for example, license renewal reminders) and, where you have agreed, product updates.
• To meet our legal and tax obligations under Indian law.

4. Your Organisation's Data Stays Yours and Stays Separate

Every record in eBrix belongs to the organisation that created it and is never visible to, or shared with, any other tenant on the platform. Passwords are never stored in plain text. Access to production databases is restricted to a small number of engineers, each of whom has signed a confidentiality agreement with BST, in line with BST's company-wide confidentiality practice described on bsoftware.co.in/privacy.

5. Cookies

eBrix uses cookies only for what the application needs to function: keeping you signed in during a session, and, if you opt in, remembering your login on your own device so you don't have to sign in every time. We do not use cookies for advertising. You can clear cookies in your browser or log out of the app at any time, which also clears the "remember me" cookie.

6. Data Security

eBrix is served only over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and is hosted on infrastructure maintained to the standards described on BST's own privacy page. While we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain your organisation's business records for as long as your organisation's eBrix subscription is active, and for a reasonable period afterward as required for legal, accounting or dispute-resolution purposes. You may request deletion of your account data, subject to our statutory retention obligations, by writing to support@ebrix.co.in.

8. Third-Party Services

eBrix uses a third-party payment gateway solely to process payments, and standard analytics (Google Analytics) to understand traffic on our public website. These providers process data under their own privacy policies.

9. Children's Privacy

eBrix is a business application for kiln operators and their staff and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of eBrix after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
